Changes to the required environment for iOS and Android devices

Around early August 2025 Wednesday, August 6, 2025We will be notifying you in advance that the update will change the required operating system for iOS devices such as iPhones and iPads, and Android devices.

■ Background of the change
In order to continue to maintain a safer and more stable service, it has become necessary to raise the minimum OS version.

■ Changes (※Added: 7/29)
[Current required environment]
iOS12.0 or later,
Android5.0 or later, OpenGLES2.0 or later

[Required environment after change]
iOS 13.0 or later,
Android 6.0 or later, OpenGL ES 3.0 or later

■ Implementation period
2025Scheduled for early August Wednesday, August 6th

■ NotesIf
you are using a device that does not meet the required environment, support will no longer be available after the change, so please use it in the required environment.
*Please note that Kikasete will no longer be available on devices that are no longer supported.
*If you have any questions about checking the OS you are currently using or updating your OS, please contact your telecommunications carrier or the manufacturer of your device.
If you change your device and wish to continue using Kikasete, you will need to set up data transfer.
